Pembiasaan Tadarus Juz ’Amma dan Implikasinya Terhadap Literasi Pendidikan Agama Islam

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has become one of the factors that negatively affects the understanding of Islamic Religious Education, particularly among students. Many students are increasingly distancing themselves from religious activities, preferring to spend their time using gadgets rather than participating in religious practices. As a result, they tend to neglect and lack proficiency in reading the Qur'an, and some are even unable to read it correctly in accordance with the rules of Tajwid. This study aims to describe the habituation of tadarus (collective Qur'an recitation) of Juz 'Amma and its implications for Islamic Religious Education literacy. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The data analysis results were presented in a narrative form. The findings indicate that the habituation of Juz 'Amma tadarus has a positive impact on the Islamic Religious Education literacy of students at SDN Singarajan. Through the implementation of the Juz 'Amma tadarus program before the learning process begins, students develop fundamental religious values by becoming accustomed to reading the Qur'an, strengthening their faith and piety, and fostering positive behaviors such as discipline, consistency (istiqamah), and focus.
