Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the strategies applied by Islamic Education Teachers in fostering good morals of students at MA Al-Ittihad Tanara, Serang Regency. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach. This type of research is a case study. The data collection methods used are interview, observation, and documentation methods. The data analysis technique uses an inductive method with a flow of data reduction stages, data presentation (data display) and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this study indicate that the Islamic Education Teacher's Approach in fostering good morals of students at MA Al-Ittihad Tanara, Serang Regency through individual and group approaches. The teacher's approach is to observe and identify student morals. The Islamic Education teacher's approach in fostering is also carried out with a participatory approach, namely involving students in fostering good morals in and outside the classroom. The methods applied are giving advice, role models, and habituation methods. The evaluation is carried out by the Islamic Education teacher on each fostering method applied by the teacher. The evaluation stages include the process of comparing behavior before and after being evaluated, observations from educators, related parties, colleagues and follow-up. The form of teacher follow-up is to intensify and repeat the methods applied.
