The purpose of this study is to analyze the meaning of patience and its relation to Islamic education contained in the Qur'an, Surah Al-Baqarah verse 153. The method of this research is library research, namely a review of several literatures or scientific works related to the problem discussed and a series of activities related to the method of collecting library data, reading and recording and processing research materials. The results of this study indicate that patience includes restraining and preventing lust that leads humans to disobedience, and patience in obeying the laws of Allah, and patience in facing trials. Patience is very important because it is one of the main values recommended in Islamic teachings. Patience is seen as the key to achieving success and achievement in life, both in the world and in the hereafter. Patience in Islamic education also teaches the importance of maintaining patience in facing difficulties and challenges in the learning process. When facing difficulties in understanding a concept or material, a student must learn to be patient and persist in facing these obstacles, not avoiding them. In addition, patience in Islamic education also teaches the importance of valuing time and opportunity.
