Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Quantum Teaching method in improving learning outcomes for the aqidah akhlak subject, specifically regarding the cultivation of noble character among seventh-grade students at MTs Syekh Bajang Tanara. The research was prompted by low student participation and academic achievement resulting from conventional, often monotonous, teaching methods. Adopting a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted over two cycles, the study focused on enhancing affective learning outcomes among 17 students. The findings reveal a significant leap in student performance following the implementation of the Quantum Teaching model. The mastery learning rate rose from 64.75% in the first cycle to a substantial 88.23% in the second cycle. This method proved effective in sparking student interest, engagement, and a deeper understanding of moral values such as istikamah (consistency). By integrating emotional approaches, a conducive learning environment, and flexible learning styles, Quantum Teaching successfully fostered an interactive and meaningful classroom atmosphere. Consequently, this method serves as a highly effective alternative for education that emphasizes character building and student behavior
