Pembelajaran Menulis Karya Ilmiah Melalui Pendekatan Kontekstual Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis dan Sikap Belajar Mahasiswa

This research aims to improve the process of writing scientific papers through contextual learning for students in the Arabic Language and Literature Department, Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab, UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin, Banten. This research was conducted in the Arabic Language and Literature department of the Ushuluddin and Adab Faculty of UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten using 44 students as research subjects. The problem to be studied in this research is whether contextual learning can improve the learning process of writing scientific papers for Arabic Language and Literature classes. This research uses two rounds of Classroom Action Research. Each round consists of four stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection, which are sequential steps in one cycle or cycles that are related to the next cycle. The subjects of this research were students in the Arabic Language and Literature class. The data obtained were in the form of formative test results, student learning achievement which experienced an increase from cycle I to II, namely, cycle I, the average student score on multiple choice questions and descriptions was (16.88), writing scientific papers was (19.1591), and work group of (87) In cycle II, final test. For multiple choice and description, the average student result was (22.27), the average student result for writing scientific work illustrations was (23.93), group work was (88). This research focuses on cognitive, effective and psychomotor aspects. Students' language skills in the writing aspect with a contextual approach in class that has been designed and adapted to the material that will be presented to students. The conclusion of this research is that learning to write Scientific Papers through a contextual approach to improve writing skills and learning attitudes in Arabic Language and Literature class students can be used as an alternative learning that can improve learning outcomes (quality, creativity, productivity, efficiency and effectiveness).
