Abstract

This study aims to obtain data on the extent to which the application of Make a Match can improve student learning outcomes on the theme of the five daily prayers of class VII MTs Dowa Al-Islami, Wanayasa Village. This research is a classroom action research (Classroom Action Research), carried out in two cycles. Each cycle is carried out in two meetings, with four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were all students of class VII MTs Dowa Al-Islami, Wanayasa Village in the 2023/2024 Academic Year with a total of 16 students. Data were collected through observation sheets and tests in each cycle. The results showed that, on average, student learning outcomes increased. The percentage of completion also increased. In the pre-survey, the percentage of completion was 12.5%. cycle I was 43.75% and cycle II was 87.5%. Thus, the Make a Match learning model can improve student learning outcomes in class VII MTs Dowa Al-Islami, Wanayasa Village.
