This study examines the characteristics of the Turkish Uthmani method in Qur'an memorization and its differences from other memorization approaches. It also aims to identify the distinctive features of this method and analyze its practical implementation at the Sulaimaniyah Tahfidz Islamic Boarding School. These research focuses are expected to provide a comprehensive understanding of the uniqueness and application of the Turkish Uthmani method within the context of Qur'anic education. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, which seeks to describe and interpret conditions related to the research problem. Data are collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis process involves data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions to ensure systematic and meaningful findings. The results show that the implementation of the Turkish Uthmani method at the Sulaimaniyah Islamic Boarding School has distinct characteristics, particularly in its memorization pattern, which often begins from the last page of each juz or follows a rotational system. In addition, there are notable differences between this method and more commonly used memorization methods, especially in terms of memorization sequence, time targets, and muraja’ah (review) techniques. In conclusion, the Turkish Uthmani method offers an alternative and effective approach to Qur'an memorization. It not only structures the memorization process in a unique way but also supports the retention and consistency of students’ memorization, making it a valuable method in contemporary tahfidz education.
