Introversion is an individual's tendency to be more comfortable in internal activities such as reflection, contemplation, and deep thought. From an Islamic educational perspective, this personality trait holds significant significance, especially when viewed in light of the Quranic values that emphasize the importance of tadabbur (reflection), tafakkur (meditation), and self-control. The Quran values cognitive-reflective activities as part of the formation of a faithful character, which aligns with the natural tendencies of introverts. In the context of Islamic education, introverts have the potential to excel in deep understanding-based learning, internalization of values, and literacy activities that require high concentration. However, challenges such as restrictions on verbal participation and social interaction in the classroom are present. Therefore, adaptive pedagogical strategies are needed, such as writing-based learning, small group discussions, and evaluations that allow for non-verbal expression. Thus, introversion is not a barrier, but rather a potential that can be optimized within a holistic Islamic educational framework that respects students' character.
