Apakah Kepemimpinan dan Profesionalisme Dosen Memengaruhi Kinerja Dosen?

Abstract

This research was conducted in the environment of the Serang Tarbiyah College of Science (STIT) Banten Province, limited to the factors of Leadership, Lecturer Professionalism and Lecturer Performance. The purpose of this study was to: (1) find out how much influence the leadership of the head of STIT Serang has on the performance of lecturers at STIT Serang, (2) find out how much influence the professionalism of lecturers has on the performance of lecturers at STIT Serang, (3) find out how much influence the leadership of the head of STIT Serang and the professionalism of lecturers has on the performance of lecturers at STIT Serang. This study used a survey method with a regression technique. The survey conducted describes the existing concepts and facts, analyzes and explains the influence of the leadership of the head of STIT Serang and the professionalism of lecturers on the performance of lecturers through hypothesis testing. The number of respondents in this study was 26 lecturers. Data analysis used quantitative analysis with simple and multiple regression test tools, t-test, F-test, and determination test. The conclusion of the study shows that (1) the leadership of the head of STIT Serang has a significant influence on the performance of lecturers. This shows that the leadership of the head of STIT Serang can improve the performance of lecturers at STIT Serang, (2) the professionalism of lecturers has a significant effect on the performance of lecturers. This shows that the professionalism of lecturers can improve the performance of lecturers at STIT Serang, (3) the leadership of the head of STIT Serang and the professionalism of lecturers together have a significant effect on the performance of lecturers at STIT Serang. Thus, the variables of leadership and professionalism of lecturers together can improve the performance of lecturers at STIT Serang.
